The WIC Program provides supplemental foods, nutrition education and referrals to health care, at no cost, to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are determined to be at nutritional risk.

In order to qualify for WIC, you must be a resident of the state of Massachusetts; a pregnant, breastfeeding and/or postpartum woman; an infant or child up to 5 years of age; and individually determined by a health professional to be at nutrition risk (i.e., have certain medical-based or diet-based risk conditions).

If you receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, or Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC), you automatically qualify for WIC.

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
