Ways and Means in the seaport focuses on housing, economic development

The state Legislature’s Joint Committee on Ways and Means came ashore Friday at Cruiseport Gloucester on Rowe Square as it works to craft the fiscal 2024 state budget.

Lawmakers from around the state were met with sunny views of Gloucester Harbor and its fishing fleet as they heard testimony from the administration’s top economic development and housing officials.
